Yeay it's done. Finally we all can rest in peace now. LOL. First of all i wasn't planning to do a birthday card. My plan was to do a wedding card. During the consulation, i decided to change it and go with the flow. And I'm happy with my final work. Yeay.

I also applied INNER GLOW AND OUTER GLOW, BEVEL AND EMBOSS,CONTOUR and finally STROKE. For the word BIRTHDAY, i used the font FORTEMT

10) New layer, click CUSTOM SHAPE TOOL, I choose an image under BANNERS and AWWARDS. There are tons of designs and shape.

FOM Open Day

Assignment 1

Yeay it's done. Finally.

My sources:

Blue sky

Fom Building

MMU Graduates

Multimedia University

Background:

1) For the background, i used an image of a sky. Resize to size of an A4.

2) Go to LAYER>NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER>CURVES to adjust the brightness of the image. I used CURVES with Blue as the base color cause i want the sky to appear more attractive and striking.

3) Using the POLYGONAL LASSO TOOL, crop the image of FOM building.

4) I want the building to appear colorful because now it looks dull to me. Create new layer, this time using PAINT BRUSH color the FOM building, it's okay if it's messy. Don't worry.

5) At the layers click the drop down menu and select OVERLAY. Then click FILTER>BLUR>GAUSSIAN BLUR>Set the RADIUS to 30 pixels.

6) Create new layer, insert MMU LOGO. With the same technique at the layers click the drop down menu and select HARD LIGHT. Then FILTER>BLUR>GAUSSIAN BLUR and set the RADIUS to 2.6 pixels.

7) Create new layer, FONT>IMPACT>FOM OPEN DAY>COLOR CHERRY RED

8) New layer, open new picture MULTIMEDIA UNIVERSITY. Drag the picture into your workspace while pressing SHIFT BUTTON.

9) Go to LAYER>CREATE CLIPPING MASK. At the layers double click it and adjust the appearance of the font that has already been masked. Example the inner or outer glow.

10) Open new picture. I'm going to insert a picture of Graduates in my workspace. Go to SELECT and click ALL, EDIT and COPY. At your workspace click EDIT and PASTE.

11) At the LAYERS, click ADD VECTOR MASK. It's a small icon that looks like a camera. Click it. Then go to EDIT>FILL. At the CONTENTS make sure it's BLACK. Then press OK. You'll see the image of the graduates disappear. Not to be worry. PAINT BRUSH your workspace. As you brush your workspace you'll notice that images of the graduates will start to appear. Careful because you only want the images of the graduates to appear in your wallpaper. Then at the LAYERS, click HARD LIGHT. Go to FILTER>BLUR and GAUSSIAN BLUR it. Set the pixels to 2.1.

12) Insert FONT of your choice for the FOM OPEN DAY date and time and your preferred phrase. Lastly it's done. Yeay go have a drink with your friends.

An old 1867 photograph of a woman with a missing tooth.

After:

All glamed up.

Our girl look smokin' here. From a grandma with a missing tooth we transform her to a gorgeous lady and we gave her a beautiful set of teeth. Hahaha.

Aloha

Photo Retouching is very common these days. You see images of pretty and good looking models in magazines, on billboards and wish you'd look like them. Symmetrical face shape, flawless skin, an hour glass body shape, perfect nose and everything is perfect and you cry and ask GOD why am i not as pretty as these skinny models? WHY GOD WHY? (sorry for being too dramatic), well all those images have been edited and retouched. *Pant* Don't be fool by it. Regardless of the condition, photo retouching can turn any imperfections looks fresh, brand new, and in many cases, photo retouching can make an image look better than the original one. So don't be fooled by what you see. Although the say "seeing is believing" think twice before you believe them.

The original photo:

Using clone stamp i blend everything and the water polo swimmers is gone. *evil laugh* You can see a beautiful blue sea of water.

I changed the color and insert a surfer in it. Using polygonal lasso tool i trimmed the image of the surfer and insert it. This technique have been taught in previous class. I have to admit i have never seen a pink or red color sea before.

Britney Spears Ops i did it again CD - eyes.

Speaker - nose which is kind of funny because it seems like the image has only one nostril.

Keyboard - mouth.

Ram - eyebrows.
